Now in its third year, Solar Summits Freiburg
is a series of international conferences dedicated to the topic of "Solar Mobility – Batteries, Fuel Cells and
Biofuels for Sustainable Electromobility". From 13 – 15 October, leading
industry experts will meet at the Concert Hall in Freiburg
to discuss mobility concepts of the future. The development of environmentally compatible and
sustainable drive and vehicle concepts and their implementation on the market
are one of the major challenges facing the scientific, industrial and political
sectors over the next few years. This year's congress will
focus on finding practical solutions for electromobility as well as alternative
models and forward-looking forms of mobility at the leading international level.
Leading international industry
representatives will discuss these highly explosive topics at the Concert Hall
in Freiburg. They include:
- Daryl Wilson, CEO, Hydrogenics Corporation
- Dr. Werner Brinker, Chairman/CEO, EWE
- Rolf Schumann, CEP Better Place Germany, Better Place
- Werner Diwald, CEO, Enertrag
- Dr. Christian Allmann,
Project Manager "Research Project e-Performance", Coordinator Public
Funded Projects Electric/Electronic Department, Audi Electronics
Venture GmbH
- Katsuhiko Hirose, Project General Manager, Toyota FC
Because the number of
international participants is very high, the congress, which is held in
English, is also a unique information and networking platform for energy
specialists from around the world. Last year, the share of foreign participants,
who came from more than 25 countries, was 50 percent.
The complete congress agenda
will be posted online at www.solar-summits.com,
where it will be available for download, at the end of July.
